My work is an exploration of color, pattern, texture and sheen. I use the technique of a multi-layered warp face weave using very fine rayon which I dye in color progressions. My small scale work involves up to 5 layers of warp and I am able to produce 15 - 20 weavings using the same colors but many different techniques. Each weaving is matted and framed and signed with a Series and piece number. Recent work also involves combining the weaving with beadwork surrounding the woven pieces.

My large scale weavings involve 2 to 4 layers of warp and often use a weft of twisted electrical cord. I am particularly interested in optical effects created by the color and design. I have also begun to stuff and quilt the weavings to add additional dimension.

My work is in many corporate and museum collections and can be seen at a number of craft shows each year.
