STATEMENT

My work explores color relationships, whether bold contrasts or tone-on-tone shadings that test the edge of visual perception. To me, color is like music: one of the basic sensory pleasures of human existence.

My work has appeared in House & Garden, House Beautiful, Interior Design, Organic Style, The New York Times, and on the NBC Today Show. I have shown at Crafts at the Castle, ACC Baltimore, Brooklyn Designs, and CraftBoston, as well as in group shows in galleries in New York, Chicago, New Haven, and several locations in Colorado. I was awarded Handwoven Magazine's Weaving for the Home Award of Excellence in 1998 and Best of Show at the Fine Furnishings Providence Show in 2005.
