| Jennifer Davies graduated from Rhode Island School of Design and spent a year in Rome as part of the European Honors Program. Among her mediums are printmaking, watercolors, and murals. In recent years she has turned her attention to papermaking. She employs western pulps and methods, but also processes Japanese pulp into which she dips web like woven pieces or uses it to make large translucent wallhangings.
She has taught and studied papermaking and printmaking techniques at Women's Studio Workshop and Creative Arts Workshop. Solo shows have been at City Gallery, in New Haven, The Robert C. Williams Museum of Papermaking in Atlanta, Georgia, The Jewish Community Center of Greater New Haven, and Travelers Insurance in Hartford. She has participated in many group shows of printmaking and papermaking in the Northeast and nationally. She has been included in two recent traveling exhibits, the Fiberart International, and The Paper Runway. She is a member of City Gallery, a co-operative gallery in New Haven, The Friends of Dard Hunter, a group devoted to hand papermaking, and Fiber Artists Collective.
